N.P.A

Hi!! I'am going to tell you about my experience in NPA.

It is the first time I do this, but I feel very good.
my Delegation was Indigenous social aliance and my comision was human rights.
It all started in english class were we have to present an exposition in which we have to tell our class mates, miss Gomezcasseres and Luisa Parra that is a girl of 8 grade that that day was in our class for helpping us in N.P.A we have to talk about our delegation (indigenous social aliance).
I think that the information about N.P.A that gave us Luisa Parra was so complete and it help me so much in the real day.
Then we have to present the portafolio with all the information of our delegations and comisions to Miss Adrianathe next weeks we research more about the topicand we had to start making the possition paper.
Finally the day arrived we had to go all dress up with fancy clothes, first we had a flag raising and they gave us the platelets with our corresponding delegation and then we went to the classroom and we start the debate about the Indegenous human rights in a very intresting convertsation in wich each delegate expressed the opinion of their delegation and in wich the comission get to some conclutions thata was afterwards read in th general assambleyin where they deliver the superlatives awards.
And this is my experience in the NPA.

N.P.A (Nacional Peace Assembly)

Well, this is the experiense i had in NPA. This is the first time a make a debate like this. it was so exiting, and i had a good experience. In my case i had the delegation of EU (European Union) and in the Comision of Narcotrafic with the topic of "social and economical impact of illicit crops".

It all started in english class when we had to present to our class mates, to miss Gomezcasseres and to Luisa Parra (a studen of 8º that was gonig to help us) your own delegation, the importance of it and how it help the comunity.
then we had like a pracite with the precidents and with the other delegates. that day i had a good experience because erery time a knew evrey thing about my delaegation so for me it was so easy. in that day the practice was from 2:30 pm to 4:15 pm so in time a could prectice even more for the real one (Naciona Peace Assamebly). When the day of the real debate arrived, i was so afraid because a kenw that, that grade was my wole achivemnt. fortunatly every thing was pretty good and i did not had problems. my delegates helped me in the debate when i didnt know what to said. but in general every thing was perfect.

NPA

Well my comision was ''Economic and social '' and my delegation was '' Representantes Captadores de dinero'' and i think that was good and bad, first bad because when i was reading the position paper the delgation of ''Representantes de Inversionistas'' felt Hurt becuase in the paper posicion i talked about the banks that they had too high the interest so they put us ''challenge competition'' And then the president enter like a delegation us '' Representantes de Inversionistas'' and also was against to us so they take out us from the room and they told us that we were going to lose the vote because in the posicion paper i put '' Representantes Captadores ilegal de dinero'' and that was too bad because we were aceptingt that we were ilegals but i think that well, that was wrong but no too BUT as they thought because as DMG know that they are ilegal but they continuing doing that business because they have their reasons that's what i wanted to do, give my reasons about why i do that business that i knowed that was ilegal but i continuing doing that because of my reasons. So they put us '' challenge competition'' and they thought that the thing thaT i put in the posicion paper was so but so they decide,... by voting if they were going to take off the vote and they do that so the decision was that they take off the vote.
That was too bad, then we talk to the Adriana telling that, we were so worry because we thought that we were going to lose the subject but Adriana told us that it only get down the points and she told us that if we participate they points could get hight again, so we do that. That was the good thing.
When we were in the middle of the debate the presidents penalise all the comision because we were doing too much noise but i think that that was unfair because i was quiet.
Then we continue in debate participating us much as we can and it continuous at until 4:30pm i think it was a very hard day. it was from 7.00 am to 4:30pm., they gave us a recess of 20 minutes.
When we came back to the debate i was so nervious because all the comision was against us a president became in that case ''David Mursia'' and help us.

NPA = National Peace Assembly

THIS IS THE PROCESS ABOUT THE ASSEMBLY WE HAVE LIVED AT SCHOOOL, SINCE THE FIRST MOMENT WE STARTED TO TALK ABOUT IT, TO THE LAST MOMENT WE FINISHED TALKING ABOUT IT.

"Well, the first time when I was inside the classroom with all my classmades and with Luisa,(she was our helper)when she started to explain the instructions or conditions to participate in the assembly, inmediately I thought that I couldn't participate well.
Luisa explained us how to talk: PARLAMENTARY LANGUAGE, There was an specific way to talk, for example, you could not say: 'I THINK', it was: 'THE DELEGATION THINKS'.

After understanding that, we had to do a simulacrum to practice how to act and react towards a discussion between two "enemies". My "enemies" were: Representatives of investors,Bank of the Republic, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,etc. My performance in the simulacrum was pretty good because I talk many times.
After making a practice the real NPA was coming, and I felt prepared. When the assembly started some people start talking about what was the problem, I mean, the trouble, for example: the Bank of the Republic started saying that we, (Representatives of Money Colectors)were stealing people using our pyramid system. We told them it was a complete lie, because the Bank of the Republic was REALLY stealing people with the interest rate; and it is TRUE!! 36% of interest rate per year, That is a lot!! The assembly continued very well organized until the Representatives of investors did challenge to us to the competition, then it was desicion of the people inside de classroom, to deside if we lose the right to vote or not. We lost. But we could talk and debate also.
At the final part of the debate, some girls that were the Press, gave us some papers that were called "SUPERLATIVES", those papers were to say which was the most beautiful girls and boys in Press, in the commission, it means the most pretty delegate, the most pretty president and also which was the most distracted, the most angry, the most extrange etc. That was the end.
But in conclusion, in general I enjoyed the NPA. :):)
